DIRECTIONS

Granular Directions: Apply 1 lb. of product per 800 sq. ft. Granular can be applied directly from the container or by using a broadcast/drop spreader. Adding some dry dirt or sand to the granular can help with spreading via a drop spreader. The application directions for the granular and liquid are similar.

Castor Oil Directions: Combine 1/2 cup of castor oil with 1/2 cup of dish soap. Mix 4-6 tablespoons of the mixture with 1 gallon of water. You can also add 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or garlic powder. Pour mixture into yard sprayer. Shake well before each use.

Locate molehills and runways to determine which direction to push the moles out of your area. Next, protect the areas that are not yet invaded by moles. Day 1: Spray liquid and granular over the area not yet or slightly invaded by moles. Day 2: Spray liquid and granular over the area already invaded by moles and toward the boundary of where you want the moles to exit. Locate mole runways and punch a 1” hole every 8 feet and apply 2-4 tablespoons of the granular formula into each hole and cover with soil. Day 12: Reapply the liquid and granular mixture over the entire affected area. For each application, fully saturate areas, and lightly soak in with water for 10 minutes. Depending on the severity of your issue, make the mixture stronger and re-apply as needed. The product should be applied in early spring, summer, and fall when activity tends to be highest. We recommend applying at the beginning of each season to deter moles/voles before tunneling begins. Reapply every 2–3 months for maintenance or when new dirt mounds are found. Reapply after periods of heavy rainfall. If you do not see reduced activity within one week, be more persistent with applications and wait an additional week.

Have Happily Used Natures Mace for Several Florida Years

We have tried several anti-mole/vole products over the past 5-6 years here in the Florida panhandle (poisons, traps & repellents). Natures Mace repellent products have been BOTH the most effective and reasonably priced products we have used.

Thanks so much Jim! We are glad to know that our products have worked where others have failed! We appreciate your awesome review.

Judge me

Your granulars work well with the mixture of the castor oil, soap, and cayenne peppper. Moles are on the run and do NOT like either the granulars or the pure castor oil. Will continue the apply both until they do NOT come back in my yard.

Hi Russel,
I am glad you are seeing good results and Adding the Cayenne is a great tip!

Moles are gone!

Moles were destroying the mulched area in my back yard. My dog was digging everywhere following their scent. I bundled the granular product with the oil and applied them as suggested. The moles were gone after day 2 and my dog stopped digging. I was concerned my dog would be attracted to the scent of the product but she is not. I really like using products that have natural ingredients that will not harm pets, humans, wildlife or plants.

Hi Gail,
Thank you for using our products. We are so pleased you have seen good results and that dog has stopped digging!

Castor oil

I have used both the grandular and liquid mole & vole repellant. So far, it seems to stir the moles up because you see an increase in their activity. In some places they are leaving my property. Thank goodness. I have poured the liquid mole repellant straight from the bottle withour mixing it and they seem to come back over night in other places. And in the same holes. I will continue to use it and hopefully they will eventually leave. I also experienced a really hard time trying to spread the grandular pellets. I purchased two different spreaders and could not get the grandular to come out. I tried mixing it with sand and still had the same issue. I had to spread it by hand.

Hi Russell,
Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear that you are starting to see good results with getting the moles out of your yard. Please continue to apply the castor oil. Keep in mind that applying the product in daily sections (halves or quarters of your yard) will produce the best results in pushing the moles off your property.
I understand the Granular Mole MACE Can be tricky to spread in a broadcast spreader. We recommend using the spreader on its highest setting and, as you mentioned, adding sand by handfuls until it is a good consistency. Watering the granules into the soil is a big factor as well.
We appreciate your business and your honest review. Thank you for being a customer.
